| Spread betting affiliate programs are cropping
up more and more. The main players such as Sporting Index and
IG Index have had these programs for some time now, but there
are other spread betting affiliate schemes evolving all the time.
Due to the volatile nature of spread betting, there is much money
to be made with these programs online. |
| As with most gambling affiliate programs,
there are 2 main types of way to make money. |
| CPA or cost per acquisition |
| With CPA, you are paid a one-off fee when
you send someone from your site to a spread betting company and
that person ends up opening and account and betting. The sale
is tracked back to you by a unique code that you add to your
banners and links which is given to you by the company with which
you sign up. |
| In general, you will be paid between $70-$120
for each person who qualifies as an introduction. To qualify
as an introduction, the person you sent will normally have to
place a certain amount of bets with the spread betting company. |
| Revenue Share Plan |
| With this plan, the same tracking system is
used as above. This time however, you will be paid a share of
what the person you introduced to the spread betting site loses. |
| This percentage varies and is normally paid
on a monthly basis. |
| The revenue share plan is not always available,
but when it is it offers the opportunity to make more money in
the long term. |
