Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Phil Helmuth is one of the most successful tournament players of all time. His record speaks for itself with nine WSOP gold bracelets to his name. He became the youngest player to win a WSOP title in 1989 at the age of 24 and today, around fifty tournament titles later, Phil is well on his way to achieving his goal of becoming the greatest poker player of all time.

He is known to be a great all-rounder due to his success in Seven-card Stud, Heads-up and Omaha. Phil is also famous for his antics at the poker table which, put mildly, could be described as wearing his heart on his sleeve.
