Active player - A player still involved in the pot.
All-in - To bet all the money or chips you have on the table.
Backdoor - When a player makes a hand he wasn't originally drawing at.
Bad beat - When a big hand is beaten by a longshot draw.
Bet into - To bet when acting first with the knowledge that your opponent has a potentially strong hand.
Big full - The highest possible full house in hold'em and Omaha.
Blank - A card of no value to a player's hand.
Bust out - Lose all your money.
Calling station - A player who will call almost any bet made.
Change gears - Adjusting game styles from tight to loose or vice versa.
Chasing - Calling bets to catch a card to beat a superior hand.
Check-raise - To check and then raise in the same round of betting.
Cold deck - A term to describe the deck when constant trash hands are being dealt.

Steal - To win a pot on a bluff.
Tell - A mannerism of a player that may indicate strength or weakness in his hand.
